
According to reports, Boko Haram has killed 11 of its members in Miringa village in Biu local government area of Born state after members fled from one of its camps near the area.
Boko Haram leader sent at least 20 fighters to get the fleeing members, and when the group caught up with the fleeing members in the village as they wanted to surrender to government forces, they slit their throat.
A close source told SaharaReporters that the militants assembled the deserting members summarily tied them and slit their throats in the presence of horrified villagers and then left their bodies in the village.
